茉莉烏龍採用彰化花壇所生產的茉莉花，利用茶葉本身吸附味道的特性，採用重要工藝「窨制」，將精緻茶胚與鮮採茉莉一起熏製，茶中會帶有濃郁的茉莉香氣。其作用就像為茶葉「上妝」，不僅要保留茶葉原有的茶香，還讓茶葉吸附茉莉花香，充分表現「茶引花香、花增茶味」。

ジャスミン烏龍茶は彰化花壇が生産しているジャスミンを採用しています。茶葉が香りを吸着する特性を利用し、精製茶葉とジャスミンとの燻製工程「窨制」を経って、茶葉がジャスミンの香りを吸着させます。この効果は茶葉に「化粧」するように、元来の茶葉の香りを保留するとともに、ジャスミンの香りも持ちます。「お茶が香りを増し、花がお茶の香りを引き出す」効果を十分に引き出します。

Jasmine oolong only selects flowers produced in Huatan, Changhua. Utilizing the aroma absorption characteristic of tea leaves, the critical craft of "scenting" is used to blend delicate young tea leaves with freshly picked jasmine for a tea that carries the rich aroma of jasmine. The process is akin to "dressing" the tea, as the tea's aroma must be perserved while absorbing the scent of jasmine flowers to perfectly embody the state of "increasing floral aroma through tea, and perfecting the flavor of tea with flora".

茉莉花屬於熱帶花種，常見在園藝上的觀賞植栽，她的花香鮮明馥郁，自古即為製作花茶之賦香料。日本的伊藤園公司曾與京都大學農業研究所合作研究發現：茉莉花茶的茶香有鎮靜作用，能提高人的工作效率。
