“Along the River During the Qingming Festival” is a panoramic painting that truly depicts the life of people of different strata in ancient China's North Song Dynasty. The version of the painting that was created by Qing Dynasty court artists is now collected in the National Palace Museum in Taipei. This handscroll painting fully displays the original appearance of people's daily life at that time, from rural areas to urban districts, incisively and vividly.

Mingjian Township in Nantou County is situated on the Bagua Plateau, which is at an altitude of 500 M. With plenty of sunshine and frequent rainfall, it is home to tea plants and Sweet Osmanthus trees. A combination of the locally cultivated Four Seasons Oolong Tea and the Silver-White Osmanthus, which is picked in the fall, is created here with the craft of scenting teas. After the tea leaves are scented with Osmanthus flowers, they are sieved to remove any traces of the flower so that flower dregs will not cause bitter tastes in the tea when it is brewed. The refreshing scent of the tea is infused with the fragrance of fall, and a rich floral aroma blossoms on your tongue.

Rose Oolong Tea

Puli Township, in Nantou County, enjoys mild weather and clear water. There, ower farmers plant mountain roses in net greenhouses. The owers can be harvested year-round. The edible fresh petals are sweet, with a hint of astringency. The rose blossoms are mixed with Sijichun Oolong tea during the scenting process. After being allowed to settle for a suitably long period, the mixture is roasted to balance the aromas of the tea and the owers. Jasmine Oolong Tea

Jasmine oolong only selects flowers produced in Huatan, Changhua. Utilizing the aroma absorption characteristic of tea leaves, the critical craft of "scenting" is used to blend delicate young tea leaves with freshly picked jasmine for a tea that carries the rich aroma of jasmine. 
The process is akin to "dressing" the tea, as the tea's aroma must be perserved while absorbing the scent of jasmine flowers to perfectly embody the state of "increasing floral aroma through tea, and perfecting the flavor of tea with flora".
